Recent Developments in Vapor Intrusion Standards and Barrier Technology

In conjunction with
The Sixth International Conference on the Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds

This one-of-a-kind event captured the attention of over 100 industry leaders and was designed to provide new insights into the expanding field of gas vapor intrusion. The featured presenter was Blayne Hartman, Ph.D., a respected industry expert and speaker on the topic of gas vapor intrusion and founder of H&P Mobile Geochemistry, Carlsbad, CA. Mr. Hartman delivered a spirited presentation on the topic of gas vapor intrusion including very recent and specific information on the new ASTM standard for this field.

In addition, Mr. Peter Grant of Land Science Technologies (a Division of Regenesis) delivered an insightful talk on Geo-Seal™, the latest in state-of-the-art, contaminant resistant gas vapor barrier systems. Mr. Grant also emphasized the fact that Geo-Seal™ is quickly becoming the gas vapor barrier of choice for many environmental consulting firms dealing with contaminated subsurface media.
