When Jason Wilt began exploring opportunities at REGENESIS, he soon realized the company and its products complemented his own professional experience in vapor intrusion mitigation. Then once he began interviewing for the position of Technical Sales Manager for the Southeast District, which he would ultimately accept in May of this year, he knew he had found an ideal career move. He shares, “My initial interest in REGENESIS came from doing some online research on the company’s products and services after seeing the job posting. I found that REGENESIS’ products and services, and their clients, aligned very well with my own experience in the environmental space.” And while the job posting piqued his interest in joining REGENESIS, he says the interview process proved to be the difference maker. He continues, “My initial interview with Jordan left me feeling very excited about the company and her leadership style. This was reinforced as I continued through the interview process. I’ve always felt a career is more than just a job that you do every day…and that the people you work with play a very significant role.”

Jason got his start in the environmental field in 2008 in a sales role for a company that provides collection and recycling of oils and the disposal of industrial waste. He continues, “I later accepted a position with a leading advanced solvent recycler, where I assisted large quantity waste generators in managing their flammable solvent waste through an onsite distillation process, and then later I was recruited to join a non-hazardous liquid waste management firm in Chicago, where I was responsible for sales to industrial clients that required transportation and disposal of their waste.” Prior to joining REGENESIS, he spent time at an environmental lab company, where he was responsible for laboratory service sales in the greater Chicago area. After his first year, he accepted a promotion and transfer to the Gulf Coast region, where he was responsible for a large portion of Florida and all of Alabama and tasked with selling lab services to clients ranging from environmental consultants to engineering firms and industrial customers. When asked what he thinks he will enjoy most about working for REGENESIS, Jason points to the variety he sees in his new role. “Every project and each site’s specific needs are different, so this in itself will keep my job exciting. I’ll also enjoy helping our clients find solutions to their unique challenges.”

Residing in Gulf Breeze, FL, where he lives with his wife and two daughters, Jason enjoys a variety of family fun activities outside of work, and as you might expect, most include water. He shares, “We are an outdoors family, and here that includes the beach or being on the water. We have a couple of jet skis and love taking these over to the beach/boardwalk area for lunch or dinner during the summer. We also have a group of friends who have skis, so we typically have a group that takes a short ride over to the beach. In addition, I enjoy hunting and fishing with both of my daughters and we get out into the gulf for offshore fishing whenever we can. My wife and I both lived in the Chicago suburbs most of our lives, so with our move here to Gulf Breeze, we went from only having a couple months of warm weather summer activities to almost an entire year of warm weather. It was the best decision we ever made to move our family to the Florida Gulf Coast, and I am looking forward to selling in an environment where there are always new challenges to overcome.”

Land Science is proud to welcome Jason Wilt to the team as Technical Sales Manager for the Southeast District, and we appreciate his valuable experience and continued commitment to developing successful vapor intrusion mitigation outcomes for Land Science and its clients.
