When Jordan Morgan joined Land Science in May of this year as South Central District Sales Manager, the move reflected a desire to return to her environmental roots, while also allowing her to utilize the recently honed sales skills she had acquired in the medical device industry. She begins, “I began my career in the environmental industry as a college intern with a well-respected environmental consulting firm in Houston, TX. After graduation, I had the opportunity to join this consulting firm as a full-time environmental consultant and I didn’t hesitate.” In this role, Morgan conducted Phase I ESAs and assisted with various environmental services, including Phase II ESAs, Groundwater Sampling & Monitoring, Industrial & Construction Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Spill Prevention Control & Countermeasure Plans (SPCC), to name just a few. She continues, “During this time, I found I had a true passion for client development and customer relations. I then decided to pursue a career in sales, and accepted a position with a start-up medical device distributorship, where I was able to grow my passion for serving others and being a resource for clients.” In her sales role, Morgan forged meaningful relationships with physicians, hospitals, and office staff, and leveraged those relationships for feedback on medical devices. She also promoted innovative solutions to hospitals and clinics, and assisted physicians and clients in developing innovative ways to grow their client-base. She shares, “I feel my past experience as an environmental consultant, coupled with my medical device sales experience, prepared me for my role with REGENESIS/Land Science, which allows me to utilize my environmental background and tap into my consulting and sales roles to provide innovative solutions to my clients.”

Morgan was drawn to REGENESIS/Land Science for several reasons, including its values, which she feels mirror her own. “REGENESIS/Land Science is a well-respected company in the environmental industry, and they are known for innovation, an ability to deal with complex issues, and they are focused on being a resource for their clients. I was drawn to this company for those very reasons as well as their values, which closely align with mine. For example, I have integrity, I am driven, I am curious, I always dig deeper, and if I stumble in life- I get backup. I enjoy finding solutions, and most of all I love serving others. In addition, I have the opportunity to work with an amazing team!” To prepare for a career in environmental science Morgan attended Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Bioenvironmental Sciences. When asked what she feels she will enjoy most about being part of the REGENESIS/Land Science team, she quickly answers that being a go-to resource for clients tops the list. “One of several aspects I’m excited about is that I will have the opportunity to be a resource to clients and provide them with solutions to problems that were identified at their project sites. I think it is pretty exciting to be able to solve the problems that I previously identified when I was working as an environmental consultant.”

Living in Texas with her husband of 12 years and their 2 children, Morgan finds time outside of work to enjoy weightlifting and cardio. “I hit the gym 4-5 times a week and use that as my time to unwind and relax.” She also enjoys being out on the water and fishing, especially deep-sea fishing off the coast of Florida. She continues, “It doesn’t matter if it is fresh or saltwater- I love to be on the water with my family. And, last but definitely not least, you can find me and my family on a baseball or softball field almost every weekend. My son plays select baseball and my daughter plays select softball, so they keep us pretty busy with weekend tournaments!”

Land Science is proud to welcome Jordan Morgan to the team as South Central District Sales Manager, and we appreciate her valuable experience, enthusiasm, and continued commitment to developing successful vapor intrusion mitigation outcomes for Land Science and its clients.
