Case Study: PFAS Eliminated for 3.5 Years and Counting at DoD Airfield Site

This updated case study reviews a pilot test to remove PFAS risk via an in situ colloidal activated carbon barrier at Camp Grayling, a large year-round military training center operated by the Michigan Army National Guard (MIARNG). Colloidal activated carbon was selected because of the expected rapid reductions of PFAS by removal from the dissolved mobile phase, as well as its expected lower total project costs when compared to operating a mechanical system over a similar time. The goals for this pilot project were to utilize an approach that could both protect the Grayling community from exposure and cost-effectively expand to a full-scale application.

Case Study: New York Brownfield Site Treated for PFAS Achieves Closure

This case study reviews a 25-acre former refinery located in a mixed-use industrial/commercial area that was contaminated with PFAS. Benchmark Environmental Engineering & Science, PLLC & TurnKey Environmental Restoration, LLC (Benchmark & TurnKey), a leading engineering and redevelopment consulting company headquartered in Buffalo, New York, engaged REGENESIS for an in situ remedy that would effectively and economically cut off the plume and prevent migration of PFAS offsite.

Webinar Recording Now Available: Attaining PFAS Criteria in Groundwater Predictability, Sensitivity, & Practicability

In this webinar we were pleased to have as a special guest speaker Jeff Hale, Practice Leader – Emerging Contaminants at Woodard & Curran. His presentation discussed attaining PFAS criteria in groundwater. He was joined by Dr. Kristen Thoreson, Vice President of Quality and Process Improvement at REGENESIS, who discussed the latest developments about colloidal activated carbon’s use in the remediation industry as a low-cost method of eliminating PFAS risk. The full recording of the webinar is now available here.

Upcoming Webinar: Proven Strategies for Protection Against Vapor Intrusion in Existing Buildings

In this webinar we are pleased to have as a special guest speaker Tracy Fajette, Business Development Manager at American Industrial Coatings. His presentation will discuss the application of Retro-Coat Vapor Intrusion Coating technology from Land Science. He will be joined by Nick Mjolsness, West Region Manager at Land Science, who will discuss how the Retro-Coat technology mitigates contaminant vapor intrusion risk for existing buildings. This webinar starts Thursday, July 14th at 11am pacific/2pm eastern.

Battelle Recap: Proven and Guaranteed Treatment of PFAS

REGENESIS and Land Science thank all the environmental professionals we had the pleasure of meeting at the Battelle Chlorinated Conference. Throughout the week’s event, there was strong interest in our patented PFAS treatment using colloidal activated carbon commercially known as PlumeStop. This proven remedial solution is rapidly becoming the ‘gold standard’ for PFAS remediation on sites globally, due to its proven and guaranteed ability to reach non-detect for PFAS. Use the link below to learn more about eliminating risk from PFAS with low-cost in situ treatment.
