THOMAS SZOCINSKI, CEP JOINS REGENESIS AS DIRECTOR OF VAPOR INTRUSION OF LAND SCIENCE DIVISION
San Clemente, Calif. (August 1, 2016) —REGENESIS®, the global leader in advanced environmental remediation technologies, is pleased to announce the hire of Thomas Szocinski, CEP to the position of Director of Vapor Intrusion. Land Science, a division of REGENESIS, is dedicated to developing and providing advanced vapor intrusion technologies for sustainable land development. “Tom Szocinski has a tremendous reputation in the remediation and vapor intrusion markets, and is considered a leading national expert in vapor intrusion having served on both state and federal regulatory vapor intrusion review boards. Tom’s industry knowledge and years of experience are invaluable and we are excited to have him join the team,” says REGENESIS CEO and President Scott Wilson. “With a previous track record of success as a project manager implementing large-scale brownfield redevelopment projects, he will undoubtedly be a tremendous asset to the organization.”
Prior to joining Land Science, Szocinski served as an Environmental Project Manager at AKT Peerless where one of his Michigan-based projects was awarded the US EPA Grand Prize Phoenix award for brownfield environmental excellence among the 10 US EPA regions across the US in 2015. “I am looking forward to supporting the continued growth Land Science is experiencing as a leading provider of vapor intrusion mitigation solutions,” says Szocinski, who earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Lake Superior University. “Tom’s technical background and experience is a great fit for our growing team and we are excited to have him provide technical leadership to our partners and clients,” says Rick Gillespie, Senior Vice President of Sales for the Land Science division and REGENESIS.
