What is it?
PersulfOx is a safe, easy-to-use ISCO reagent that destroys contaminants such as petroleum hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents in soil and groundwater. Its patented catalyst activates sodium persulfate directly in the subsurface, eliminating the need for external activators such as heat, metals, or peroxide.
How it works?
Once applied, PersulfOx generates sulfate radicals that rapidly oxidize hydrocarbons and chlorinated compounds. The built-in catalyst sustains these reactions without hazardous co-activators, providing fast and long-lasting contaminant destruction while simplifying field application.

Its built-in catalyst activates sodium persulfate without the need for heat, metals, or other activators, generating powerful free radicals and promoting repeated, surface-mediated oxidation for rapid and sustained contaminant destruction.
PersulfOx® SP
Formulated for projects requiring sodium persulfate with a separate chemical activator (e.g., iron, peroxide, or alkaline activation), PersulfOx SP destroys organic contaminants in soil and groundwater through powerful, sustained chemical oxidation. Once the activator is consumed, the built-in catalyst continues generating oxidizing radicals, extending contaminant destruction and reducing the need for repeated activations. It can also be used as a follow-on treatment to PersulfOx Catalyzed Persulfate for multi-stage remediation projects.
