- Review of PFAS transport processes in the vadose zone
- How PFAS mass discharge may be used to prioritize site remediation
- Lines of evidence, including several PFAS visualization methods, to validate that porewater sampling was reproducible and representative
- Factors causing strong PFAS attenuation in shallow soil
- Caution regarding the use of SPLP tests to estimate PFAS mass discharge or soil screening levels in the vadose zone
In this webinar we were pleased to have special guest speaker Grant Carey, Ph.D., President of Porewater Solutions. His presentation discussed a case study exploring how PFAS mass discharge from the vadose zone to groundwater was estimated at Ellsworth Air Force Base. He was joined by Paul Erickson, Ph.D., Vice President of Research and Development at REGENESIS, who discussed PFAS remediation solutions using colloidal activated carbon.
