Employee Spotlight: Keith Munsey, Technical Sales Specialist, West Region
When it comes to possessing a technical background that complements the REGENESIS product line, Keith Munsey fits right in. As the company’s West Region Technical Sales Specialist, Munsey leverages his experience and his academic background to provide guidance to a diverse client base, leading to better environmental remediation outcomes. He shares, “REGENESIS has a reputation in the industry for having cutting edge products and innovative approaches to today’s environmental remediation challenges, and I am excited to be a part of the team. I was drawn to the company in part, because REGENESIS seemed like a creative, fast-paced environment where I could lend support to clients to meet environmental clean-up goals.”
Prior to joining REGENESIS in July 2021, Munsey’s career began as a Geologist at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, where he assisted with aquifer vulnerability research, underground injection control data management and regional dye trace studies. He continues, “While at the Florida DEP, I attended Florida State University (FSU), where I received my MS in Geology. In 2018 I moved to Phoenix, AZ and started working for an environmental and geotechnical consulting firm, where I focused on the mining and environmental sectors. My consulting experience included contaminant delineation, water resources, geochemical modeling, and site investigations all over the western United States. It was great technical experience and helped shape my desire to move into product sales.” Prior to earning his MS in Geology, Munsey earned his BS in Geology, also at FSU.
When asked what aspects he likes most about his role with REGENESIS, Munsey points to a continuation of ‘the learning curve’. “I enjoy learning about new industry-related technologies and solutions, and using this knowledge to help people arrive at the right solution. I also like that I work in a region that covers a large part of the country, so I get to meet with a diverse range of people and learn about their site’s challenges and conditions.” He also looks at his current position with REGENESIS as an opportunity to be outdoors, while making a contribution to cleaning up our environment. He continues, “I chose to join REGENESIS because I like to spend time outdoors and I think natural resources are important. I feel there is a real need to protect what we have and clean up the impacted areas, and I like being a part of that effort.”

Living in the Phoenix area, Munsey enjoys traveling, hiking, SCUBA diving, running and just about anything to do with the outdoors. He shares, “I like spending time at the beach and in the nearby mountains. I would like to see more of the US national parks, and I’m about a third of the way through my list. With running, I mostly just run for fun, but I have done a few short races and a triathlon within the past few years.” When asked what he is most excited about in being part of the REGENESIS team, he looks forward to assisting those both inside and outside the company. He concludes, “I am excited about the opportunity to work with people from all over the country within REGENESIS, and those outside of the company, to help them reach their goals.”
