Featured Article | Immediate and Sustained Elimination of PFAS in Soil Leachate Achieved at Camp Grayling
A field-scale application of a novel colloidal-activated carbon material has successfully treated PFAS-impacted soils in situ at a fire training site at Camp Grayling Training Center, the largest National Guard base in the US. Read the full article published in The Military Engineer to learn more about this proven, innovative PFAS remediation treatment solution.
- PFAS concentrations in soil leachate were reduced by 99.4%
- Follow-up sampling activities after six months revealed no PFAS detected above the 1-ng/L detection limit
- Easy to deploy, in situ PFAS treatment requires no operation and maintenance, and generates zero PFAS waste

Case Study | Pump and Treat System Decommissioned and CVOC Site Closure Achieved with PlumeStop
A former metals manufacturing site was granted closure by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) following successful in situ remediation of CVOCs caused by past plating operations. In addition, based on the success of the in situ remedy and significant reduction in tetrachloroethene (PCE) and trichloroethene (TCE) impacts, the onsite pump and treat system was also decommissioned.
- NYSDEC granted the site closure
- Pump-and-treat system was decommissioned
- In situ approach provided substantial energy and cost savings overall
Case Study | PetroFix Reduces Time and Cost-to-Closure at UST Petroleum Release Sites
- Site closure achieved at four sites
- BJAAM develops, stores, and accesses their own PetroFix remedial application designs using the PetroFix Design Assistant
- Site outcomes have led to significant cost savings for BJAAM’s clients and gained confidence from state UST regulatory agencies
Article | Less Than 1/3 the Cost Compared to ANY PFAS Pumping Treatment Method
- Widescale adoption of PlumeStop to mitigate PFAS exposure risk promises to save billions of dollars and eliminate millions of tons of greenhouse gas emissions
- PFAS compounds for treatment were reduced below detection limits at colloidal activated carbon study sites
- No waste generated (therefore no further potential liability)
Webinar | PFAS Lessons Learned Treating a Large-Scale AFFF Site Using In Situ Colloidal Activated Carbon
We are pleased to host Rebecca Mora, AECOM Associate Vice President and Senior Technical Leader who will present PFAS lessons learned while effectively treating a large-scale, AFFF release in situ using colloidal activated carbon (CAC). She will be joined by Ryan Moore, PFAS Remediation Program Director at REGENESIS. The webinar begins Wed., Feb. 28th at 11am pacific/2pm eastern.
Webinar | Navigating Design and Installation Challenges in Vapor Intrusion Mitigation
In this webinar we are pleased to have special guest speaker Matthew Ambrusch, PE, MBA, Associate Principal at Langan.
