PFAS Remediation Using Colloidal Activated Carbon

eBook | Understanding PFAS Remediation Using Colloidal Activated Carbon

eBook Highlights:
  • Key differences between CAC and other activated carbon material
  • Overview of how CAC adsorbs contaminants and primary factors that govern sorption behavior
  • How CAC remediates PFAS
In Situ PFAS Remediation at Airport

Case Study | In Situ PFAS Remediation Protects Offsite Environment at Airport in Norway

Case Study Highlights:
  • Through nine months of monitoring, the two primary PFAS of concern, PFOA and PFOS, have been reduced by 96% and 98%, respectively.
  • SourceStop® Liquid was applied as a permeable sorptive barrier to reduce PFAS migration hydraulically.
  • The permeable sorptive barrier was designed and implemented downstream of the excavation area to mitigate the ongoing dissolved-phase transport of PFAS during and post-excavation.

In Situ Approach to PFAS Remediation

Article | Viewpoint: The In Situ Approach to PFAS Remediation

Article Highlights:
  • A recent airport site was remediated to address PFAS risk quickly, effectively, and sustainably.
  • In situ remediation uses colloidal activated carbon (CAC) technology injected into the subsurface to create a below-ground PFAS filter.
  • In situ PFAS remediation is less than 1/3 the cost of pump-and-treat, produces zero PFAS waste which would require offsite disposal/treatment, and requires no ongoing maintenance.
Inline Blending System

Article | World’s First Inline Blending System Featured in Orange County Business Journal

This recent Orange County Business Journal article highlights REGENESIS’s new Inline Blending and Injection System (IBIS) which captures data while delivering up to four remediation amendments at a time on site.
