MassDEP Finalizes “Vapor Intrusion Guidance: Site Assessment, Mitigation, and Closure” Document

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) finalized their Vapor Intrusion Guidance: Site Assessment, Mitigation, and Closure document on October 14, 2016. As stated from the guidance, “This document provides guidance on investigating, assessing, understanding, and mitigating vapor intrusion at disposal sites regulated under Massachusetts General Law, chapter 21E and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan.”

Upcoming VI Training Course with Dr. Blayne Hartman and Thomas Szocinski (CEP)

Dr. Blayne Hartman will be leading a 2-day vapor intrusion training course in conjunction with CA DTSC in Oakland, CA Tuesday, Feb. 28th and Wednesday Mar. 1st, 2016. He will be joined by Land Science Director of Vapor Intrusion, Thomas Szocinski, who will discuss technologies to mitigate vapor intrusion. Download the flyer for more information.
