    Brownfield Awards 2022

    RegenOx, PetroCleanze and ORC Advanced used in winning project

    We’re proud to have contributed to a project in London that recently won a Brownfield Briefing Award in the category ‘Best application of Remediation Technologies’. We’d like to congratulate Soilfix Limited, Ramboll Management Consulting and their client LocatED.

    A robust ‘source-area specific’ remediation design, carefully put together by the project team to achieve the optimum sustainable solution for the site, was implemented by Soilfix. This included combined in-situ/ex-situ LNAPL recovery methods to prevent significant excavation of hazardous soils from the source areas on the site containing recalcitrant hydrocarbons that would have otherwise had to have been removed off-site due to time/space constraints.

    REGENESIS technologies RegenOx®, PetroCleanze® and ORC Advanced® injections were used to provide effective chemical and biological treatment for enhancement of LNAPL recovery and biodegradation of dissolved phase TPH, to rapidly meet groundwater remediation objectives.
